In the last 36 months, since I became a member of Goodreads, I have read 49 books. Not too bad. About 1.3 books a month to be precise. I love that I can keep track of everything I have read with the virtual bookshelf. Here are some of my favorites from the last year...
Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil
John Berendt
The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie
Alan Bradley
The Red Tent
Anita Diamant
The Help
Kathryn Stockett
The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society
Mary Ann Shaffer, Annie Barrows
I just started Luncheon of the Boating Party by Susan Vreeland which Ms. Whelan promises is a delightful summer read. I'll keep you posted. Please send suggestions my way, I'm always looking for new material! What's on your bookcase?

I am reading "The Castaways" by Elin Hilderbrand and am loving it...half chick-lit, half mystery. About a group of 8 friends (4 couple) on Nantucket.
Loved The Help and GLAPPPSociety. Happy reading!
